MERV 8 Filter should be replaced once per month to ensure proper function. AeroShield™ MERV 8 should be used to ensure effective filtration and avoid voiding warranty. 

The AeroShield™ MERV 8 PreFilter is designed to remove larger particulates to allow the AeroShield™ HEPA Filter to perform better and last longer. The AeroShield™ MERV 8* PreFilter is efficient at trapping the majority of larger indoor particulates to keep the AeroShield™ HEPA Filter clean and help purify your operatory air in the process.

*The Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) tells you the efficiency of an air filter at its lowest performing level. MERV 8 filters have at least 85% filtration efficiency on particles that are 3 to 10 microns in size and can even capture up to 50% of particles that are 1 to 3 microns in size.

**Filter life can vary based on actual usage and pollution levels. Our estimates are based on the unit running 8 hours a day 4 days a week in the average dental practice. If you begin to notice a decrease in airflow or suction, it's time to replace your MERV 8 Filter. Keeping this filter fresh will increase the lifespan of your HEPA H14 Filter and keep your AeroShield™ FLOW performing optimally.
