The AeroShield™ FLOW is the most effective extra-oral suction system on the market. It was designed from the ground up specifically for dentists. The FLOW extracts aerosols directly from the working/breathing area and releases clean air back into the room. This patent-pending system consists of four highly effective filtration stages (hospital-grade H14 HEPA filter, medical-grade sterilizing UV light,  activated carbon filter, and a MERV 8+ high capacity filter) to ensure that contaminated air comes out clean. The movable suction arm ensures optimal placement in the working field to capture aerosols before they have a chance to infect the dental practitioner. The air moving system ensures the perfect balance between suction and flow for maximum containment and filtration of contaminated air. AeroShield™ is proudly made in America. 

AeroShield™ FLOW was designed with all dental contaminants in mind. Four stages of filtration are used in specific order to filter down particulate matter with the greatest efficacy. AeroShield’s method of trapping the larger particulates first frees up surface area on the finer filters to ensure the highest possible level of filtration is achieved for the smallest size particles. 

AeroShield™ FLOW’s HEPA filter is a true HEPA H14 air filter. Certified to eliminate 99.995% of particles 0.3 microns in diameter. The 0.3 micron size is used for HEPA certification standards because it is considered the “Most Penetrating Particle Size” or MPPS. Testing has shown that particles larger than 0.3 microns are more efficiently trapped because of their larger size AND particles smaller than 0.3 microns are more efficiently trapped because they lack the mass to penetrate the filter. So 99.995% filtration of 0.3 micron sized particles is the least efficient filtration you will get with this filter.
